Operating three flights a week on the route using Airbus A320 planes, Vietnam Airlines will also increase the frequency and capacity of its Yangon-Hanoi service, launched in March.

Vietnam Airlines' Yangon office general manager Cao Xuan Phu said: "Our route between Yangon and Hanoi is already a success, but we hope the new route will be even more successful because Ho Chi Minh City is the business hub of Vietnam." (Sources: Rahul Khanna, Yangon, TTGAsia)
