Singapore F1 levy stays at four nights
HOTELS in Singapore will be subjected to an F1 levy on hotel room revenues over four nights September 23 to 26 just as last year.
The rates are 30 per cent of the total revenues from rooms and room packages for trackside hotels and 20 per cent for all other tourist hotels.
Two more hotels Marina Bay Sands Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel will join the list of trackside hotels this year, taking the count to 15. Other trackside hotels are Carlton Hotel Singapore, Conrad Centennial Singapore, Naumi and The Ritz-Carlton Millennia, Singapore.
The race will be held from September 24 to 26.
The levy was imposed over a five-night period when the race first came to Singapore in 2008.
