Delhi to host PATA mart next year
INDIA has won the bid to host the PATA Travel Mart in New Delhi at the Pragati Maidan exhibition centre next year.
PATA India executive director Kabir Vasudeva told TTG Asia e-daily that the mart would be an occasion to show off the collection of new infrastructure and hotels built for this year's Commonwealth Games.
India’s Ministry of Tourism will host a welcome dinner on September 17 at this year's PATA Travel Mart in Macau to invite all PATA members to participate in the 2011 mart in New Delhi.
PATA has an active chapter in India and plans to strengthen its presence by opening a representative office in Delhi.
