In 2014, Vietravel is proud to co - organize and sponsor for the traditional boat races on Huong river, which has now been enthusiastically initiated numerous propagation activities along with the Organizing Board for the successful preparation of Festival event under various promotion approaches.
Festival Hue 2014
The first Festival was held in 1992 under the name Festival Viet-France. Until the year 2000, the name was changed into Festival Hue. From then, the Festival Hue has become a grand & meaningful cultural event towards the introduction of Vietnam tourism image in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular with its heritage values, ecology and bringing the role of cultural, economic and tourism center of the whole nation and North Central region to the fullest play.
Once again, Vietravel would like to emphasize that the tourism mission and development goals of Vietravel would be towards responsibilities for society and community and hand-in-hand with considerable events and activities in conservation, reservation and development of national cultural values. Therefore, the one - billion - Silver Sponsorship Package for this Festival would not be out of our objectives that contribute to great success of Festival Huế 2014 and build an image for both Thua Thien Hue Tourism and Vietnam Tourism to make it far more beautiful and attractive in the eyes of visitors and global friends.
Phuoc Tich Ancient Village Hue Vietnam
Located on the bank of O Lau river and 30km away from Hue center to the north, Phuoc Tich village, Phong Dien commune attracts many people to come for a visit.
Phuoc Tich is famous not only for its many 500 – year – old houses which are still well preserved by the local people, but also famous for its pottery making, with a huge number of glazed artifacts and terra cotta found here and there around this village. Moreover, its peaceful nature and green gardens are undeniably unique that can hardly be found anywhere else.
